Motorists have been warned to count on to delays as £10,000 work to enhance drainage and prevent flooding in a city centre will get underway.

Installation of a brand new drainage gully and pipework in Ollands Road, Attleborough begins as we speak (Monday, January eight) and is scheduled to final for every week.

A Norfolk County Council assertion mentioned: “This enchancment is to assist alleviate the flooding points skilled in the realm.

The £10,000 challenge is funded by the National Productivity Investment Fund for Market Town Drainage works.

Works will begin 60m south of the junction of Clover Road, with aquacells – which retailer water – positioned in a grass verge by the roadside.

The grass space will likely be re-seeded as soon as works are full.

Traffic will likely be managed by “give and take”, the place drivers are expected to negotiate hazards with out the necessity for short-term visitors lights.
