An 18-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences after a harmful driving incident.

At round three.15pm on Wednesday, January three, police out on patrol within the Gunton space of Lowestoft turned conscious of a Ford Fiesta which they believed to have been stolen.

Officers requested the car to cease in Yarmouth Road, but it surely failed to take action.

It was then pursued alongside Bentley Drive, Millennium Way and Somerleyton Road, earlier than turning into Hall Lane, Oulton, the place it lastly got here to a cease after the automobile started to spin and then mounted the grass verge.

Tyler Ezobi of Sands Lane, Lowestoft, was arrested following the incident and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He has subsequently been charged with the following 4 offences:

• Aggravated car taking and harmful driving.

• Failing to cease for police.

• Driving with out insurance coverage.

• Driving in any other case than in accordance with a licence.

Ezobi has been bailed to look at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 24.
