Gain project recognition – 2018 ICE Merit Awards open for entries

The Awards organised by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) have a good time civil engineering initiatives and the groups behind them within the East of England.

Every 12 months the ICE Merit Awards spotlight civil engineering initiatives, serving to to boost the occupation’s public profile and offering recoginition for the individuals who constructed them.

To qualifty for entry, initiatives will need to have been accomplished between 1 January 2017 and the competitors deadline 27 April 2018. There are 4 classes:

  • Physical Achievement
  • Technical Excellence and Innovation
  • Sustainability
  • Team Achievement

Each entry is visited by a panel of judges who could make an award starting from Merit to Exceptional Merit. The intention of the Awards is to recognise and encourage excellence throughout the occupation, promote project values, encourage group working to beat difficulties while delivering advantages for individuals, the setting and future generations.

The winners will probably be introduced on the Merit Awards Evening to be held at Girton College, Cambridge on 27 June.
