Council advises of route changes during Plumstead Road closure | Politics

Drivers and bus customers are being warned of of route changes forward of a four-week highway closure.
Plumstead Road will likely be shut from Monday January 15 whereas the highway is linked to the A1270 Norwich Northern Distributor Road twin carriageway.
The closure will likely be between Thorpe End and the Plumstead Road junction with Thorpe Lane. During this era, drivers are being suggested to make use of a marked diversion route by way of Salhouse Road.
The Konect 5B and 5C buses is not going to serve Thorpe End during the highway closure however a substitute shuttle bus has been organized. The service will run from Monday to Saturday from the Green to the Rainsborough Rise bus cease in Dussindale Drive.
The shuttle can be used to attach with Konect 5B and 5C buses from Dussindale to Wroxham, Salhouse and the Plumsteads.
There will likely be no entry for pedestrians or cyclists.
