Blue Monday becomes Brew Monday at Peterborough Station
The Samaritans visited Peterborough Station on Monday to turn the day, the most difficult day of the year, into something much more positive.
The charity turned "Blue Monday" on its head by making "Brew Monday" celebrating "the great tradition of simply having a cup of tea (or coffee) together"
] Carol Corosby, Sue Horsley and Allan McGeadie of the Samaritans arrived at the train station on Monday from 7am and distributed coffee and tea to the commuters.
The goal was to talk to the public about Brew Monday and encourage everyone to take a cup of tea with a friend, especially one who can benefit from a nice chat.
